Announcement of the conference „Trends in Mathematical Modelling, Simulation and Optimisation: Theory and Applications“ 12. Januar 202120. Januar 2021 We are pleased to announce the online conference „Trends in Mathematical Modelling, Simulation and Optimisation: Theory and Applications“ on March, the 2nd and 3rd, 2021, organized by the CRC TRR154-2 („Mathematical Modelling, Simulation and Optimization using the Example of Gas Networks“) in cooperation with Marie-Curie ITN MINOA („Mixed-Integer Nonlinear Optimization: Algorithms and Applications“). It aims at connecting leading experts in applied mathematics, computer science and engineering, with the objective of stimulating fruitful discussions between researchers and industrial partners on today´s challenges in the energy sector, logistics and engineering with a main focus on network problems. See https://www.trr154.fau.de/trends-in-mathematical-modelling-simulation-and-optimisation/ for further information.

Annual meeting 2020 under „Corona restrictions“ 10. Oktober 202010. Oktober 2020 This year’s TRR 154 annual meeting was somehow exceptional, due to the restrictions caused by the Corona virus. The meeting was held on October 1+2, completely online. Despite the difficult conditions, talks and discussions have been productive and moved the TRR 154 one step further.
